The CMD is a family of robust yet highly flexible, easy reelable DMX multicores which offer several channels for the transmission of light-DMX and audio signals.
Tinned copper strands are twisted together into pairs. Each pair is shielded by a spiral shield in combination with a braid of tinned copper wires (double shielding = spiral shielding plus braided shielding). Its jacket consists of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The combination of all these components results in superb protection against indoor and outdoor interferences and, at the same time, outstanding transmission properties.
Due to its characteristic impedance of 110 Ω, the CMD DMX multicore cable conforms with AES/EBU standards.
