Despite its 24 pairs of tinned copper conductors, which are each shielded by a spiral shield, and an overall tinned copper braid (double shielding = spiral shielding plus braided shielding), our CMD 24 is still highly flexible (not least because of its elastic PVC jacket).
The characteristic impedance of the multicore cable is 110 ohms (AES/EBU compliant).
