CSE
All ready made Cordial Ethernet cables begin with the letters CSE. This means: Cordial - Top Performance - Ethernet.

This is followed by the length of the cable in meters. Cordial offers ready-made Ethernet cables in lengths between 0.3m and 150m.
NN HH NH
The next two letters indicate the plug combination. H stands for HIROSE®, a normal RJ45 plug. N stands for NEUTRIK®, an RJ45 with etherCON® plug protection. HH are two RJ45, NN are two etherCON® plugs and NH is RJ45 on etherCON®. The Cat. 5 assembly for example is available as CSE HH 5, CSE NN 5 and CSE NH 5.
5 6 7 7A
This number indicates the data category of the data cable. Cordial offers cables of different categories, which are suitable for different applications. The rule of thumb is: The higher the number, the higher bandwidths can be achieved. 5 stands for the Cat 5e, 6 for Cat. 6A, 7 or 7A for Cat 7A.
HIGHFLEX LONG-RUN QUAD
The next characters highlight special features. Here, LONG-RUN stands for a special design that allows even longer cable distances of over 100m. HIGHFLEX stands for a particularly flexible construction, which was optimized for drag chain applications. QUAD stands for a combination of 4 Ethernet cables in a common jacket, so that four independent networks can be laid at once.
D SD SD1
We also offer lengths from 25m on robust SCHILL® drums, which make installation and storage much easier. SD stands for the standard drum, with two meters of one end wound on an auxiliary spool. If you prefer a permanently integrated Ethernet socket instead, choose the SD 1 product. If you want to unwind the cable completely from the SCHILL® drum, you need a D version, in which the drum has no side winding attachment and can therefore be completely separated from the cable.
PVC
All Cordial Ethernet cables have a jacket made of polyurethane (PUR), which is halogen-free and therefore does not emit any toxic gases in case of fire, only water vapor and CO2. For some applications this is not necessary, therefore Cordial also offers PVC variants, which are much more cost-effective.
